Grammy Red Carpet Wrap-up February 10, 2015 18:25

What were you're favourite looks from the Grammy’s on Sunday? I have the breakdown on the fashion hits and misses that graced the carpet. From all the award shows that have been happening over the last month or so this was this first one where I wasn't instantly in love with most of the looks. The first miss in my mind was Madonna in Givenchy. I felt as though she was trying too hard, I know she is the one and only Madonna a performer through and through but it was too much and quite desperate in my eyes. Another celeb I was not wowed by and usually kills it was Beyonce. After the year she had with that amazing album and it being the Grammy’s she should have been the princess of the event. Her dress by Proenza Schouler was too boring for me, although I did like her natural hair but not for an event more for brunch! There was couple looks I liked but not for the event they were attending. Taylor Swift was wearing Elie Saab it looked great on her body but it looked like she was going to the prom. On a side note her legs looked amazing! Rihanna was another one, wearing Giambattista Valli it was more suited for the Met Ball or something. I think it was the wrong dress for the wrong event. The Grammys are more about rock and roll not Haute Couture. I did love her simple sweet hair and makeup! Kim K in Jean Paul Gaultier was another one who I was liked bits and pieces of her look but not the whole ensemble together. I liked the idea of the sparkly robe but it was not tailored for her, making her ultimately look quite sloppy. I love her new hair! Now onto my top three hits for the evening! Katy Perry being one wearing Zuhair Murad. I always gravitate towards lavender hair especially mixed with her sparkly dress I was loving the glamour of it all. The long sleeves mixed the length of the dress it was a complete hit in my eyes! I was loving Nicki Minaj in Tom Ford the dress was tailored to perfection on her body. Her boobs looked amazing and I was loving the side hair flip! The number one look for me was Gwen Stefani wearing an amazing jumpsuit by Atelier Versace. I loved the top of the jumpsuit! Gwen’s hair and make up were flawless, I liked how she traded in her normal red lip for a nude one. She looked fresh faced and beautiful! Well, that is my Grammy’s red carpet wrap up! Hope you enjoyed it!
