Oscar's Red Carpet

The Oscar’s were on Sunday and I was heaven with all the coverage that was on. It is pretty crazy that it literally was on all day before the show started. For me it is not even about the show I haven’t even seen any of the movies that were up for nomination to tell you the truth. I just love seeing what choices all the ladies make as they grace the carpet. My top three looks of the night were Rosamund Pike, Margot Robbie and Anna Kendrick. Rosamund was wearing Givenchy, her body looked unreal. Her hair and makeup were a perfect fit with the hand embroidered dress and I loved how luscious the colour red was. Margot Robbie was wearing Saint Laurent, the black sheer sleeved dress draped beautify and was unbelievable in my eyes. The necklace that she wore by Van Cleef + Arpels was so unique with the zipper detail and tassels which tied in well with the effortlessly chic dress. To me this was a knock out of the park! Anna Kendrick brought some colour onto the carpet wearing a coral halter dress by Thakoon which was beautiful and perfect for the Oscar’s. Her hair and makeup worked great with the jewelled collar. I really liked Lupita Nyongo’s Calvin Klein dress mainly because it was made out of pearls, and well to me you can never go wrong with pearls. Jennifer Lopez was glowing as usual in Elie Saab. She has been rocking that plunging neckline all award season so if ain’t broke don't fix it! The dress was definitely suited for the Oscar’s with the gigantic skirt and all the beading. The earrings by Anna Hu Fire that Gwyneth Paltrow wore were a show stopper. I thought the red earrings looked so cute with the pale blush colour of her Ralph & Russo dress. Faith Hill reminded me of old school glam in her J. Mendel gown. She looked so pretty with her pixie cut mixed with the elegant pearlized low cut gown; I loved the whole look. Emma Stone was wearing Elie Saab, I was not a huge fan of the colour but as per usual she rocked it. The cut of the gown and her hair and makeup we're on point, I also liked the beading detail throughout.
Hope that everyone enjoyed my low down on some of the looks. Below is some of the ladies I touched on as well as other looks that caught my eye!
xoxo Sarah
